The Sudan Joint Programme (JP) “Creating Opportunities for Youth Employment in Sudan” aims to provide skills development and livelihood opportunities to the youth with particular attention to migrant youth, including returnees and demobilised soldiers. Twenty-one years of civil war have left an entire generation without access to education.

The signature of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) in 2005 is providing an enabling environment for more than four million displaced people to return to their homes throughout Sudan.
